Question Response Comments/Notes
1. Should education funding be directed to families through a voucher, scholarship, or education savings account so that parents can send their children to the school of their choice, including non-public schools? Y* School Choice. Defund racist schools. Parents and students should be able to make the decision for where and how education money should be sent and spent.
2. Should marijuana be legalized for recreational use? Y* The racist War on Drugs is a complete failure and disaster for us. Adults should be free to responsibly consume substances they desire. Those providing such goods in a fully consensual and uncoercive transaction should be able to do that. The State forces the drug trade to be violent.
3. Should the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act be amended to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” which would require public schools and other public facilities to open up restrooms and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex? U* Close racist public schools. They are a failure. The gender and sexual orientation is a prime example of force where there will be no winners. Either forcibly denying recognition and access or forcibly accommodating someone is still force. The bigots and racist should be free to associate with other bigots and racists in their own miserable carve out of the world while us good people can associate with those whom we wish and not have to suffer their abject ignorance. It would great if the bigots and racists would openly collectivize so we can avoid them like radioactive waste. Anyone who wishes to identify as they choose can choose a private vendor to accommodate them as they see fit.
4. Should Pennsylvania enter into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which would include a new carbon tax on electricity producers? N* The government wastes the money it has now. Don't give them more. The RGGI will reward wealthy polluters. This is pollution at a price. The State, or any local government, if it had any sense, would simply incentivize behavior through tax credits or rebates for these polluters to plant trees. They could even incentivize individuals in the same manner. There are 16 billion trees in PA. Approximately 14 billion more could be planted to counter the CO2 generated by PA. In the 14 years they have tried to pass the RGGI, these trees would have matured and be contributing to the reduction in CO2. That is only trees. Alas, the greed of government prevents them from thinking like this. They want money more than fixing the problem. Polluters should pay for damages to individuals and their property. Remove subsidies. The State picks winners and losers with subsidies and everyday people get stuck with the bill. Absolutely no privilege for sycophant interests. Ed will enforce personal and real property rights. Polluters should be held accountable and pay for damages to individuals and their property. Furthermore, Gen 4 Nuclear Reactors are key for green energy and make RGGI obsolete.
5. Should increases in state government spending be limited to the rate of inflation plus population growth? N* The correct tax rate is zero. No more high taxation on us so politicians can spend it on cars and meals. The Commonwealth can use GoFundMe to fund valuable State services. Government should stop spending. Prohibit credit creation and loans for financial speculation by financial institutions. Credit creation should only go to productive goods and services. Prohibit the State of Pennsylvania and its political subdivisions from issuing bonds. Use promissory notes held at banks, credit unions and other depository institutions.
6. Should our state constitution be amended to prevent taxpayer funding for elective abortions? Y* Taxpayers should not fund anything. Go Fund Me for government services.
7. Should all voters be required to show identification before voting? N* Voting is Kabuki Theater. Two awful parties, which are really one party, conspire against you. Don't vote for them. It only gives them confidence. Don't trade your vote for a single issue. The sad truth is people fantasize about being on the winning side than they would vote for a totally principled candidate. You will find one thing objectionable about who you vote for and that should be enough for you to: either vote for yourself or someone totally in line with you or not vote at all. Einstein said "Madness is doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result." Ed tells you the same for voting.
8. Should the state reduce police funding to increase funding for social services? U* Go Fund Me. Not trade off. Send the money back to the people and let them decide.
9. Should public schools be prohibited from allowing males who identify as females to compete in girls’ sports? U* Abolish racist public schools. Give that money to the parents and students directly.
10. Should schools have to post curriculum online for review by parents and taxpayers? U* Abolish racist public schools. Give that money to the parents and students directly.
11. Should Pennsylvania municipalities be permitted to require a vaccine passport? N* Vaccine Passports are racist. The Tuskegee Experiment was government experimenting on the Black Community for 40 years. Why would any member of the Black Community trust a MANDATORY Vaccine Passport after this? Absurd. Get real.
12. Should the gasoline tax be permanently reduced? Y* The correct tax rate is zero. They steal the money for roads to pay for the State Police. This is a fraud. Go Fund Me for roads.
13. Should schools be required to notify parents of any sexually explicit content in books or instructional materials? U* Abolish racist public schools. Give that money to the parents and students directly.
