State Rep. David H. Rowe has served his local community in Snyder, Juniata, Mifflin, and Union counties through numerous roles for more than a decade while being involved with multiple charitable organizations. He attended National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan and participated in its Mandarin Chinese Immersion Study program after two years of Christian missionary work as an educator in southeast Asia. For over a decade, Rowe owned and operated a local small business, employed several local residents, and he continues to be a tireless advocate for the local small business community. He attends New Hope Lutheran Brethren Church in East Buffalo Township and is a leader of its music ministry. As an active leader in the local community, Rowe served as vice-chairman of the East Buffalo Board of Supervisors; secretary of the Union County Republican Committee; a member of the Capital Campaign Council of Evangelical Community Hospital; director of the Central Susquehanna Fire and Emergency Services board; and commissioner of the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department, among other leadership roles. Rowe is a strong supporter of Expectations Womens Center, a pro-life pregnancy care center in Union County; the Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority; county fair youth livestock auctions; local youth sports clubs; and more. As an East Buffalo Township supervisor, Rowe never voted to raise taxes or expand government regulations. These fiscally conservative policies will continue to be his top priorities as a state representative. On Sept. 17, 2019, Rowe began representing Pennsylvanias 85th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives after a special election victory. He was elected to his third term on Nov. 8, 2022. For the 2023-24 Legislative Session, he has been appointed to serve on the House Judiciary, Health, Labor and Industry, and Insurance Committees. The district is comprised of Snyder, Juniata, Mifflin, and Union counties, including McAlisterville, McClure, Middleburg, Selinsgrove, Burnham and Winfield.

Y*	Education dollars must fund students, not unaccountable systems. By ensuring education dollars follow the child, parents will be able to select the educational opportunities that suit their child best and ensure that all children in the Commonwealth will have access to the education that will enable them to pursue their American dream.
2. Should marijuana be legalized and sold commercially for recreational use?	N*	Democrats in Harrisburg are proposing to expand the state-owned liquor store system to include the sale of recreational marijuana. It should never be the role of government to profiteer off the taxpayer by engaging in monopolistic commercial enterprises at the expense of the private sector.
3. Should the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act be amended to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity," which would require public schools and other public facilities to open up restrooms and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex?	N
4. Should Pennsylvania enter into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which would include a new carbon tax on electricity producers?	N*	Pennsylvanians are already struggling to make ends meet thanks to the inflation caused by reckless overspending by the Federal government. By entering Pennsylvania into RGGI, Governor Shapiro will exacerbate our financial woes by adding $700 million in new taxes which will be passed along to ratepayers.

Enacting such commonsense requirements as showing ID to vote is an easy way to restore public faith in our elections and to ensure that it is easy to vote and hard to cheat.
