1. Should education funding be available directly to families through a grant, scholarship, or education savings account so that parents can send their children to the school of their choice, including religious schools? Y* Every parent wants options and opportunities afforded to them and their families.
2. Should marijuana be legalized and sold commercially for recreational use? Y* It's a natural Herb that has been tainted by society.
3. Should the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act be amended to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity," which would require public schools and other public facilities to open up restrooms and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex? U* As a legislator, I have to consider the voices of my constituents. There is still a lot of education that is needed.
4. Should Pennsylvania enter into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which would include a new carbon tax on electricity producers? Y* This is a business and those entities that make a profit, should also incure a cost.
5. Should increases in state government spending be limited to the rate of inflation plus population growth? Y* Every dollar should be accounted for and should be justified.
6. Should state taxpayer funding be allowed for elective abortions? U* What's the definition of elective?
7. Should all voters be required to show identification before voting? U* Well, initially. I believe that when it is your 1st time, it's fair to ask for identification.
8. Should striking union members have access to unemployment compensation? Y* They have families as well and their rights should not have to be compromised just so they can address some of their basic needs.
9. Should public schools be prohibited from allowing males who identify as females to compete in girls’ sports? U* I have to advocate and legislate with the voices of my district and so I know there needs to be more education around the issue.
10. Should schools have to post curriculum online for review by parents and taxpayers? U* Reviewing information and weighing in on changing what is seen are different.
11. Should funding for public and state-related universities follow the student rather than go directly to the institution? Y* As a parent, I would like to see this happen.
