1. Should all voters be required to show identification before voting? Y* Voter identification is a common-sense safeguard that protects lawful votes and strengthens public confidence in secure, fair elections.
2. Should the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act be amended to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity," which could require public schools and other public facilities to open up restrooms and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex? N* I oppose policies that eliminate sex-based protections in private spaces. Women and girls deserve privacy, safety, and dignity in restrooms and locker rooms.
3. Should marijuana be legalized and sold commercially for recreational use? N* I do not support commercializing recreational marijuana and believe public safety, impacts on children, and the consequences for our communities must come first.
4. Should increases in state government spending be limited to the rate of inflation plus population growth? Y* Government should live within its means, just as Pennsylvania families and businesses must. Responsible spending protects taxpayers and helps prevent unnecessary tax increases.
5. Should Pennsylvania make cuts to the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) student scholarship program? N* I strongly support educational choice. EITC scholarships empower parents to choose the education that best meets their child’s individual needs.
