| 1. Should all voters be required to show identification before voting? | Y* | A government issued photo id must be provided to prove you are who you say you are and to provide proof of your eligibility to vote. It is commonsense and overwhelmingly supported by the American people. Opposition to voter identification is a coordinated effort to undermine American elections. |
| 2. Should the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act be amended to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity," which could require public schools and other public facilities to open up restrooms and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex? | N* | Absolutely not. Truth is is the most fundamental element of our republic. Biological sex and gender are synonyms. There is no such thing as a social or cultural construct in reference to gender. The movement to push gender ideology is dishonest and dangerous. |
| 3. Should marijuana be legalized and sold commercially for recreational use? | N* | I have spent my adult life watching and working with many kids whose "addiction to the high" became the primary focus of their lives. I've watched them quit their sports, cease the pursuit of their artistical gifts, ignore their academics, and destroy their relationships. I do not believe in funding government programs with destructive behaviors. Marijuana is the gateway drug regardless of the false narratives that suggest otherwise. |
| 4. Should increases in state government spending be limited to the rate of inflation plus population growth? | Y* | On this issue I have been clear and consistent with my words and actions. It's basic economics and arithmetic. Spending within your means is a must for families, businesses, and non-profits; it is also a must for government. It is irresponsible and dangerous to continue the our current budgetary trajectory. |
| 5. Should Pennsylvania make cuts to the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) student scholarship program? | Y* | ABSOLUTELY NOT! In fact, we should grow it. School choice has been at the very center of my time in the legislature. It is a liberty issue, a family issue, and a moral issue. How we educate our children will determine the future of our communities and our republican. I have demonstrated my steadfast support for empowering parents and students to take ownership of their educations. |
