Member of Baptist Temple Church . Property owner in Homewood.Have attended Democratic State and National Committee for over 30 years .was on Obmas small business Council have Volunteered for the Congressional Black Caucus for 15years .Only Delegate from Pittsburgh to attend NAACP National convention and my Daughter was the only youth delegate from Pennsylvania.My eldest daughter is Manager of Burlington in Georgia and my youngest Daughter is a senior at Hampton University and has remained on the deans list all 4years, I work with my cousin in Washington DC with the DC department of Health and his fatherhood program as well as assisting with his film company. I have worked every Democratic National Convention since 1996. I have continued my late mother's work in the Allegheny County Jail speaking to men on the Hope pod she founded as well as registering Voters in and out of Jail. As a former felon I received a pardon from Gov.Tom Wolf and while going through the process I helped eliminate barriers to the pardon process.

I am running to bring true transformative leadership to our district that has not seen substantial change in over 30 years and continues to be the worst place in the nation for African Americans.Because of my work and the legacy I continue I will be able to make an impact on day one instead of fighting from the outside I will be able to propose and pass legislation that will improve the lives of those not just in my district but in our entire Commonwealth!
